Eman Schools is proud to announce we have 2 students who will be Regeneron ISEF Finalists this year and compete in May at the International Science & Engineering Fair based on their outstanding results at the SEFI (IN State Science Fair) these past 3 weekends. They are Sama Zahran (9th Grade) and Safiya Sankari (12th Grade). We also had some other winning prizes at the IN State Science Fair. They are:
Ayah Alhaffar (6th grade) won a certificate of Merit from the American Meterological Society Outstanding Achievement in a Weather Related Project for her project ”
” Skin Cancer Prevention: Testing the Effectiveness of Sunscreen“
Sama Zahran (9th grade) for her project entitled “Which cloth is more effective as a mask?” Sama placed 3rd in the 9th grade, won a plaque & $100
Safiya Sankari (12th grade) for her project entitled “Comparing Outcomes of COVID-19 Positive Individuals with and without Chronic Kidney Disease using Python and CoRDaCo” Safiya placed 1st in the 12th grade, won a plaque & $500. Safiya also won a certificate for Statistical Research, a certificate from Women in Lilly for Scientific Excellence & $200 and $1,000 for the Joe & Reba Weaver Scholar.
