About IREAD-3, ILEARN & ECA Scores: Students in 2nd grade, now take the IREAD-3 exam. Those students who do not pass will be placed in rememdiation and retested in 3rd grade. Alhamdulilah, Eman Schools has maintained 100% pass rate on the IREAD-3 since inception.
In Indiana, all students in grades 3 through 8 take the Indiana Statewide Test, ILEARN. Testing is based on Indiana’s Academic Standards. The test includes English/language arts and Mathematics at each grade, as well as Science in grades 4th and 6th and Social Studies in grades 5th. Students in 9th grade take the ILEARN ECA in Biology and upon completion of US Government students take the ILEARN ECA Govt. Exam.
Indiana is now a Collegeboard/SAT state. ALL students in 11th grade MUST take the SAT in March of their 11th grade year. This is mandatory at any high school in Indiana. Students must receive a 480+ in L. Arts and 530+ in Math to have reached the graduation requirement. Eman Schools proctors the PSAT in October of every year, students in 10th or 11th who have NOT met the above-mentioned benchmark are placed in remediation classes so Inshallah, by the testing in March of their 11th grade year they will be successful.
